My wheels feel like there shaking from the rear at 60-90kph , i got my wheels balanced but it didn't help. could it be that i need a wheel alignment or that my brakes are warped
Could be your driveshaft centre bearing or tailsaft uni's. Have a search, lots of good info out there. Here you go Clicky
You might also need wheel alignment. Also have a read of this thread Clicky!, if your symptoms are similar you may 'possibly' need a new set of rear sub-frame bushes. Lot of people seem to be running into this lately. Somewhere near the bottom i've got some pictures up. If it does turn out to be sub-frame bushes its gonna be a bit pricey if you get a garage to do it. If you dont fit symptoms of that thread then thank your god, it may well be what Chrispy said. Feeling rather helpful today... Clicky. Have a look if you have spacers, if you do, they may be causing your probs. MoulaZX
ahh. i have the same problem. but at 40 and 80km-h its most likely these things: center bearing driveshaft-two piece can become non stable a one piece is much better suspension try pedders for a full suspention check of an electrical gremlen but only if it auto.
Oh i meant alluminum subframe spacers. Will they do the same job as replacing the bushings. I used to have some vibration that went away after about 4krpm, it turned out to be one dead oxygen sensor sending the car out of balance.
Yeah, that was sort of what I suggested way back when. The actaul centre bearing will last for ages, it's the rubber mount that attaches the bearing to the cradle that flogs out and flops around. Only way to change it is to buy a new one or get a 1 piece driveshaft made. Driveline services sell them for about $60.
i used 2 have issues with all of my old subframe and diff bushings. they were warn down something rude
