Well after two and a bit years with my zed I have decided to part it out after the electrical error I had the other day. Unfortunately that small break down was the "straw that broke the camel's back" Rather than try to sell a car that I know has issues elsewhere to some poor sucker I have decided to part it out. The engine must go first though. Then I will part the rest out. I have spent a lot of money on this engine, only three weeks ago I got newly rebuilt turbos put on. So the details. Ground up rebuild October 2005, with Arias Forged pistons compression tested 24/5/07 at 175. All bypasses done, brand new belts, and all engine related hoses brand new less than a month ago, all receipts available for the rebuild and the recent service/upgrades. Freshly rebuilt HKS 2530 turbos also just installed. Specialty Z Stainless steel 2.5" split dump pipes. I'm after $6750 for the lot. Any questions please ask. This is one awesome engine, and has prety much been driven like a nanna since rebuild. But can be unleashed now for some serious power. Any questions please ask.
sounds odd.... why cant you fix it mate? i mean.. you wont get back the cost of a warn out TT motor and then add the cost of pistons and turbos ect ect..... is your elec issue tht bad? ... on the flip side... buy a zed with a stuffed motor and put your wild motor and turbos in it.. u can get a car like that for 3k! good luck with whateva plans u may have frank
In the time I have had my zed I have spent over $26,000 on it. I am way over it. I have fixed my electrical issue the car is drivable again. After spending so much on it I would expect more reliability, it has been towed three times in the time I have had it. Please guys this thread is a for sale thread. I dont need convincing about what to do with my own car, those who know me agree. Thanks.
