Well I thought my throu out bearing had failed when I started to hear a ticking sound that went away with slightest clutch pedal pressure...

Shortly later I was confused and thought my starter had failed as it did not disengage after releasing the key...

Climb under car and discovered that the starter was flapping about with just a single loose nut holding it on. It appears that there are M10 studs installed into the bell housing, but one of mine is missing...

I looked at the service manual and could not see how the starter is supposed to be attached. Are there supposed to be 2 studs? or is one a bolt?

Anyone in Western Sydney got one spair?

Has this happened to anyone else?

    Thanks.

Same happened to me, you can order a bolt from Nissan. Only costs a few bucks. I don't have the part # handy any more but can be found in the parts list on TT.net
