I bought my first car today, my ZX After Looking for about a year, saving up for almost 2, and getting 4 paid inspections done I finally have it. Its a 1995 Steve Millen 25th Anniversary in 'Velvet Blue' 161,000 km's, manual All I have are the add pics, but will probably take more tomorrow Whatcha think eh? haha
fresh cool, thats fresh, i love the late model zeds, with some bigger wheels it would look really good
aw mate she is gorgeous.....nice find....cant wait for more pics...she looks like she is in great condition too...what are its specs btw????tt or na...manual or auto....
Well done mate looks very nice and clean but then again you got it from a car dealership i am guessing hehe going by the number plate frames... If you have yet to have datascan done on the car we can arrange to get it done for you if you like I live local and work in the preston area Good luck with the car mate
Nope, not a dealer, Private.. Cant drive it yet though, need to get it transferred, duty's paid, insured and need to go for manual license Cant wait, though it's like torture just to see it there sitting in the driveway
well done James, like we said the right one will come along and it did,it looks very nice ,enjoy it Im sure we will see you on future cruises
And to answer ed300zx... According to an article I read (on the tech section) only N/A 4 seaters were delievered into Australia, and a limited number (around 40)...Anyone know if theres any truth to that? Apparently the US had Delivered Steve Millen TT...
Just going by the number plate frames it was a car from a dealership but then again they do sell private cars as well at that dealership... yeah hehe i bet it is like torture Good luck with getting the license mate i am sure will most likey see you cruising around
Nice looking Zed. I like the Stillen lip. I'd love to see the look on the licence tester's face if you rock up for your test in that... lol... all the other L platers in corrolas and you in the Zed. Good luck with the car.
Looks nice - can't wait to see it up close. It could even be Baff's old car! Make sure you get your backside to the next cruise / tech day 'cos I want a good gander...enjoy!
Hehe, Ill try... I figure it'll be about 2 months until im fully licensed and yes I AM going for the driving test in this car....I dont know whether they'll be harder on me (cos of the car) or a bit easier cos I already have my Auto license...Maybe theyll cancel eachother out
It is Baff's old car, you're such an old timer to even know that name Col I just went through some old pics and Baff's had the mobile aerial in the top corner of the windscreen like this one, back then it had BAFF-34 plates. Nice car from what I remember. Yes the US got TT Stillen 25th Anniversary models, they had worked motors and around 400hp! The Aus delivered ones were NA and had standard engines, you get Yokohama AVS wheels, Stillen body kit and wing, stickers, that's about it off the top of my head. The jury's out on if the Aus delivered ones had different suspension. Ben
Ah they wont care, I did my test in my Z running 18psi of boost but I just took it really slowly and stayed in vacuum haha. Just strike up a conversation with the instructor and simply drive as you usually would, cool and casual will see you pass with flying colours.
as some members here know ,my old man has a number of ferraris in his collection, and my brother did his licence test in qld in one of them ,the look on the instructors face was priceless
We're such old skoolers! Back in the day with ChickenBum, Risk, Rigid etc.... I always loved his car! In fact I nearly sold mine & bought it...seriously!
