Well ive wondered since i bought my car how the piping works to use a single inlet, single outlet intercooler. I got to see the car with the front bar off, and here's a couple of pics.

There are two crossover pipes running behind the cooler that you can see here, to take the air to and from the cooler to the opposite end.

Obviously one pipe in and pipe out is already at the right end, so that just combines into one pipe at each end of the cooler.

The cars been sitting in a warehouse for a couple of months.

The front bars been off for about 2 weeks, so dust and crap has gotten in there. I'll replace the pod when i get it back.

    BOV

hey i saw that silver and purple BOV in the pic and ive got the same BOV. Just wanted to ask if you got it off that dude on ebay and how is your BOV performing. Btw is there a great advantage in putting a pod filter. Extra performance you can feel or better drive? I was thinking to b4 but just havnt been bothered as car is running pretty good. Yeh my bov is working and all but i was expecting it to be loud as the guys mentioned. I guess it doesnt have a trumpet or anything so shouldnt expect to much. Cheers

    Re: BOV

Yeah theyre prob the same BOVs. Theyre not that loud on my car, but i mainly got them to get rid of that damn goose honk. try adding some shims to the BOVs and see if it changes the sound.

My car had a pod when i bought it so im not sure of the difference... assuming it makes any difference at all to power (which im pretty certain it would) then its gotta be worth it... theyre cheap as. I remember when i put one on my last car, a late model laser, the throttle response improved more than i expected it would.

A pod is probably the easiest

and best 'bang for your buck' that you can get. The car will show an improvement as it breathes better. I also have those BOVs that were part of the group buy organised by Rohan. No they aren't loud but they do get rid of the 'goose honk' and that's all I wanted.
