Just can't stand the smell of it. Nothing to do with the car. Regarding the leather, you've done the right thing. It is simple common sense. Personally, I would have explained to her that the interior just got retrimed and it cost an arm and a leg and it would be much appreciated if she didn't smoke and don't want to chance ripping it - regardless of what car it is. This is giving her a reason to understand where you are comming from. If this fails, then I would wear it for the time being but in the future alternative measures will have to be taken to ensure this does not happen again either with her or someone else regardless of gender. I concur with everything said so far. This bird sounds like she's too up herself anyway. And she smokes, already two strikes. The lack of manners is the final strike. Relationships are all about setting expectations. If you had let her get away with it, she will think she can get her way at all times. Good on you for standing your ground. Chances are if shes hot, after shes gone and had a whinge about what a prick you are to her friends, she will start to wonder why you didn t fall all over yourself to accommodate her.
