After 3 ? years of under achievement with Zed it is now starting to show potential
This car was purchased with a heap of work already done like reworked motor with forged pistons, high flow turbos, 555 injectors, larger fuel pump plus a shit load of other work Plus an EMS dual sports ecu which has been my main handicap.
Has been dyno turned 6 times in 3 years best figures of 208 kw at wheels and that was after getting 205 kw, then fitting UAS larger side mount intercoolers and ud pulley then re tune for 3 kw was really pissed off

Must admit the best advice I was give was to rip EMS out of car by John (UNIQUE ZED) and that was early in the piece, this would have saved heaps in time and money.

So last option was to convert EMS to laptop compatible instead of handset which most tuners won?t use these days. Then car won?t start one day so friend and myself decided to connect laptop to car a little bit of knowledge can be dangerous next thing I know complete maps gone. Car actual sits in garage for 5 months I am that annoyed

So finally decide to track down Mark Chapman from MRC Dyno Service at Castle Hill as I know he did all the early work before buying the car. Had a long talk with him, he also recommends taking EMS out but I decide just to get it running again. At end of first day Mark rings to say every think is fine car is now running and looks sound. Second day Mark rings to tell me he is getting 250 kw but still has problems he needs to work on vacuum cam advance and vacuum leaks. Then rings to say he is getting 265 with best run of 272 kw finally finish with 258 kw just to play safe.

Now have maps saved with Mark on both slots on EMS and on my laptop.
hate to think how much money has been thrown at this car but I am happy now and car feels great will now just enjoy driving it. That is until the bug bits again.

Once again would like to thank Mark from MRC at Castle Hill for finding the 50 kw that was in it but never used.

some decent numbers there, but not really for the supporting mods mate... you must be peeved off that people on stock engine and stock turbos are pulling bigger numbers then you, this was done on 98ulp right?

hey you didnt mention tho, what boost is this running? lol kinda important :p

Very respectable numbers and well done. You're obviously a sydney local, will have to keep an eye out for your car, got any pics?

    Nice going, Mr T

I was very hapy with Mark as well, when he safe tuned mine to 262 rwkw on 98ulp in about 15mins dyno time at the end of a new clutch, flywheel install.

Now you need to drive it more and often and catch up on what you have missed out ;)

    I am happy

But is more about the nearly 4 year roller coaster ride to get there
People telling you yes they can do it and don't and others giving you good advise then me not taking it.

well mate honestly just be ready for more bigger numbers in the future!! being high flowed i imagine they should be able to handle 18-20 psi for a wank tune! (just to see some big numbers) if it has a exhaust/dumps/intake with the boost up buddy i reccon u could clear the 300 mark... but best to get a proffessionals opinion on it all.... and of course this is once you get bored of your current power, if your happy with it, then ride it out baby!
