For those who don't want to watch a movie:

    1. Jack up car
    2. Remove wheel
    3. Remove caliper
    4. Insert jacking bolt into the 2 holes in the rotor hat. M10 I think
    5. Do up bolts until the rotor falls off.
    6. Put on new rotor
    7. Put caliper back on and bleed if you disconnected the lines
    8. Put wheel back on
    9. Lower car

    Done.

nah, everyone has the first time.
if you have done it many time, surely it is easy.
but at least i totally had no idea in the beginning.
even i read here and know that bolt hole, still cant put it off. :bash:

WOW, its THAT easy, mine need doing badly and I was going to pay a mechanic $550 to do it, not anymore. Quick nub question, where can I get some rotors? I'm on the Gold Coast.

Thanks, will do. How hard is it to get the caliper of though? I had a wheel off today no probs but never removed a caliper.

It's not hard. Two big bolts in the back 17mm if memory serves....

The hardest bit is the hard line going into the back of it. You really need a brake line spanner to do it without rounding it. A normal spanner will round it. I normally use vice grips, but it does damage it a bit.

If your coming to the sleepover tech day I'll do it for you.

Get the rotors off Caz, super quick delivery and a good price.
