recently went on a cruise with a few mates up to the mighty Mt Panorama (unfortunately i couldn't take the Z as it was in the shop getting a new radiator, but we had an attendance of a R34 GT-T, WRX '04, a merc with a manual conversion and the 323 shitter that i drove) and i am currently compiling the video and photography into a dvd, but im experiencing some difficulties with windows movie maker 2.1.

has any one got any experience with this software? any advise or help would be great.

the problem is that when i go to save the movie as a .wma file all colors turn weird, and detail gets lost, i end up with the video looking fluro geen, blue, purple etc. not the intended way.

cant seem to find anything in windows troubleshooting about this problem so if there is any out there that can help that would be great. Or if anyone knows any other software that does the same thing but is better to use, please do tell.

    cheers

have you made sure you dont have an effect added?

yeah, i know which effect your refering to as it looks exactly like that...

however ive double checked it already. i tryed to make an entirely new clip as a test today, but it also seemed to do the exact same thing.

i doubt its the pc as i just bought a brand spanking new monster of a pc with all the goodies :):), but i might try another program.

I think i might have Ulead movie studio pro 7 floating round somewere, any used this yet? any good?

any ideas on whats good software wise?

    cheers for the help guys

Adobe Premier 6.5 (I think) is what I use

and it's great! Took a bit to become fluent in it and the huge time spaces between new vids doesn't help as I forget half I've learnt  , but it is high quality stuff and fairly easy to get your hands on too.
