ok here's the deal... I've been at MV all weekend only home atm coz I was kicked out since I was only a support car then I just kept driving to get a decent shower and feed... but... the usual comment every year is its a bogan fest... which is true... but that means minimal imports enter... I can tell you right now entering and camping is 10000x more fun than just visiting... the social atmosphere, the cruising is awesome... I was there with the Perth S15 crew and had a ball and its about time we get the imports up and noticed. So now I actually have a job again.. working is weird.. my Zeds already at the shop getting finished so I'll be there with both cars but keen to have a zed team in.. What I would say though is cars do get rejected from entry so if you have a big ass dint and an a front bar falling off.. hmm yeah prob won't get in so go fix it before you submit an entry. We haven't entered Salon for obvious reasons so need to find something new to do and become more active. So who's keen?
I would say not stock... 1) low chance to get in if your just a stock NA... 2) there's enough bogans there you'll get tore to shreds if you try and do a skid with a stock NA... Jaybo, I think if anything... you do 1 more full round salon, MV, powercruise or something before you sell it if you do that.. just a last tribute after all the work..
Idea is we build up over the next year so plenty of time to get your act together and get the extra MOTORVATION needed.. see what i did there? but yeah not to sound like a douche but I think to gain better awareness we should put on a quality show... and simmo, i know you don't like bogans but just come out and so a skid for the kids.... we would get zweett to do that but he doesn't have a zed no more. Maybe bring Tom down with the PZP zed, would work nicely to shove it up the noses of the rice haters out there

id be up for skids wont be NA this time next year so that should be fun.... also start saving up as if we do a group entry it will cost to enter and to put on a good display with large tents, a/c if its like this years and other cool shit
might get another zed and put big single on gut it and use it just for skids Will you be trying to organise it? if you do ill be more than keen to help.

high standard I entered two years ago with the Perth city street machine club who own the rights to Motorvation and got in. Anyone that think it is just commo's and falcoons is kidding themselves. There is hundreds of great cars of all makes and models and I personally was like a kid in a candy store. My car with its basically stock exterior drew its share of attention in the paddock and on cruises and over the course of the weekend I had numerous conversations with closet 300zx admirers. Well from the sounds of Antilag there's actually alot of talk now of a import boycott on next years event... I was there and saw some messed up stuff but there are some stories coming out that are shockers...
Well f**k antilag and what they have to say, if its not doing burnouts and drags on some country town road, or cruising at an average speed of 200km/hr on their cruises its not good enough... I was asked to enter MV with the bimmer club, but said no, as I also thought it was a commy/ford event, no space for euro, however im pretty sure the other car clubs would have been minding their own business and just having a good time...
have to be a member to see them but here's an example From what I saw it wouldn't supprise me if every word of it is true and Antilag have a rep for telling it as it is... We had blonde commmodore drivers walk up to our S15's when your working on them, yank the throttle cable and sit it on the limiter...
