Motor suddenly made noise like exhaust developed bad leak at or near motor, passenger side. Has been parked for a week and has not dropped any oil. Could it be a turbo has sh.t it self or the exhaust manifold gasket? I read somewhere the manifold may worp and break manifold bolts? When you can't see how do you know? Can the manifold and turbo be removed with motor in? your comments are requested,please. '94 TT 117000 K's
Likely just a gasket. I believe you can pull the manifold with the engine in, but it would not be fun at all. Manifolds don't normally warp.
