Best to use the search function for these!

There's hours and hours of reading on these issues if you use the search function in the corner.

some brief answers for you tho:

the hicas system is basically 4 wheel steering for the zed. at allows the rear wheels to turn at high speeds. If your HICAS light comes on, its more than likely you need to top up your power steering fluid. Many zedders who do track work seem to remove the Hicas - partly for the weight saving, partly to make the car more predictable under high speed cornering. Personally, I love it.

Im not sure if cheap and efficient should go together, but there's a fair bit of debate out there about intercoolers.some say stick with sidemounts, some say go a front mount. If you put in a frontmount, there's quite a bit of pipework that needs to be fabricated. Upgraded sidemounts seem to offer similar performance, without as much hassle. If you look in the for sale section, i think James may have a front mount setup for sale still (maybe).

Zeds have plumbacks from the factory. most develop 'goose honk' under light boosting.

    cheers
