Hey guys as some know I have a vibration that I believe now is an oil induces vibration, I am in the process of pulling the engine to sort out some issues and now that I am pulling the plenum I have found a heap of oil in the tract to # 6 piston, I am wondering if the PCv could be causing this (which may be weird as they are only a year old).

Symptoms are a major vibration from the engine in conjunction with oil smoke out the exhaust while the engine is coming on to boost, I intially thought a turbo seal, causing a plug to foul, but have very limited oil in the intercooler and none to speak of around the throttle body. I then thought rings or valve seals or even a bent valve, but this new find makes me wonder.

    any other thoughts.

oh and when this happens we have used a stethescope and isolated the vibration is definately coming from cylinder 6

I think plenty of blow by, presurising crank case spiting oil past PCV valve into plenum, into cylinder and fouling plug. But then again I could be wrong. :p
