are you people OK or what ???? INVU.. if i was to take my zed there i think i would be dead before i get there ,,, the drown out of the exhaust would kill me

yeah but Alex, I guess some of us are lucky not to have drony exhausts... But I guess we arent pushing out the same amount of power as you.... The long drive does not bother me, I'm looking forward to it. Some of us are towing and some of us are driving. Either way, should be fun.

i think you guys should have a pre going away zed day , just to go over the cars , make sure all is OK , before heading of ,( what is it 24 hour run? )

Thanks for the offer Matt but we wont be travelling anywhere near the blue mountains. We will be heading up the Newell Hwy.

 

Mark, I'll be travelling up on Tuesday (early with you and Wykked/Blondie, or later with Mikey) etc, and after the weekend I have to be back in Melbourne to work Midnight Wednesday (I do have someone on 'standby' so it's not set in concrete). So I'll be coming back with you and Mikey on Monday... we'll let him set the pace, no?

Does anyone have a spare seat on the drive up? I'm still not sure I'll be taking my Z up with me, but I'd still love to go! I love road trips, so I'm more than happy to pay an even share of petrol to get there!

My plans are still up in the air as I may be staying on for a mini vacation in QLD after that Nationals, so at this stage I think it will just be a request for a one way ticket Seems like there will be a few spares on the way back as it is, so if my plans change then I dont think i'll have too many issues getting back with everyone else...

My zed isn't going but I am. RZM's co-driver, so if you gets tired Mark we'll have a spare driver to help out.

 

Should be a spare seat in the Patrol for you Andy so you can car hop on the drive up, and if you want to hang out for a few days before comming back you can tag along.

It seems we have people driving up at different times on tuesday, is there any way a compromise can be reached so we all drive up together or are people stuck with timetables they can not change?

 

Any compromise from my perspective will depend on what time I'm allowed to disappear from work. I do not want to have Tuesday off as annual leave. The 'GFC' is playing havoc with my leave, next step is a 20% pay reduction by working 4 day weeks .

Then again, with the car manufacturers having down days all over the place, by the time Easter comes around I might be told to have the whole bloody week off!

 

I assume it is not as simple as trading one of your enforced leave days for the tuesday?
