    I can help maybe..

    Don't go to Garry Crick Nissan...
    long story..
    Mine goes in to Ultra tune tommorrow for lhs turbo replacement. Make sure Michael works on your car, he is Nissan trained and a really good mechanic. They do a few Zeds there and I can trust them.
    Good Luck..:zlove:

    Hi Amandah

    my husband and I both take our Zeds to Venzies in Nambour. Our family has 8 cars (including our kids), not all zeds though, and Venzies has been looking after all our cars for many years. He does not overcharge, and does a good job. Tell him Karen and Paul sent you and ask for the boss, Robert Venzies. His number is 54413776. They are in Donaldson Street. :cool::cool::cool::cool:

    There is not 1 mech on the Sunshine Coast that I would let within 2 miles

    of a 300 and I had looked around for the last 14 years. I didnt find one that knew what he was doing or didnt want to rip you off in one way or another:thumbsdown:I would take the time and head to Brissy or the Goldie,its A few bucks extra for fuel but big saving on expertise:thumbsup:and as for Robert Venzies he once told me you could rebuild a 300 motor without taking it out of the car:LOL::LOL::LOL:I think he thought it was just an upmarket holden 202 motor;) :LOL: in the engine bay:wacko::wacko:

    HOW DARE YOU

    Mr TT. That would be a complete lot of rot. What a very stupid thing to say. Any inteligent Zedder would know that no mechanic would say something like that. Perhaps you have another beef with him???????Both our Zeds are running beautifully from the work he does on them, so are our other cars. I would prefer to think you are mistaken with another guy rather than being an outright liar. Robert and his staff are so busy now he will only take new busines on recomendation from existing customers. That success only comes from being good at what you do.

    Red Dwarf would not let anyone near His Zed if they did not know what they were doing, I know that for a fact. I suggest that Amandah follow his advice at this time because as Pazzaz has said Robert Venzies is very busy. As well as Roberts regular customers, he is preparing two cars for racing clients and my Zed he is fitting mods to stage 5. I doubt he would have time for any more customers for at least a couple of months. As for Mr. TT comments, they are not worth spending any more time on.;);););)

    hey it wasnt directed at you in anyway PAZZAZ just calling it how it is on

    the coast.
    I had lived there all my life up until 15months ago and in that time I have owned about 15 show cars and 30 others(4 of them 300's 1 z31 and 3 z32's).
    I know the coast all to well and the shops that work there and its hard to find a good one,if hes good for you thats great but all I can say is watch out for the cowboys:thumbsdown:This is an open forum and a open question ,I think its only fair to tell my past experience with coast mech's from Noosa to Caloundra.
    If anyone else has other wise to say thats fine,but when it comes to cars and mechanics there are always conflicting stories so please dont take it personally.
    :thumbsup::zlove:
