    I have clearly woken up this morning in a parallel dimension, because I'm stuffed if I can see any connection between a potential timing belt failure, and a manual steering rack(nor can I see any query concerning fitting/placement of the proposed new rack).
    This is becoming more and more like a bad episode of "Sliders"(I know, ALL episodes of Sliders were bad).:eek::eek::bash::biggrin:

    The original post was discussing both the manual rack and a single turbo conversion. Chrispy may have rebirthed the thread to talk about racks but wazTTed was talking about the conversion.

    Well he had to ditch his PS pump to fit in the wastegate, and I guess he didn't want a PS rack without PS... The other pictures are for interest's sake. Is that a bit hard for some people to comprehend?
