Magnaflow exhaust question

Hey guys,

I've already got the PZP style dump pipes and test pipes. I want to complete the rest of my exhaust system so I've been looking at getting some Magnaflow rear mufflers.

I like these ones:


I have 2 questions.

1. Does anyone know where I can buy these? Preferably online. I found heaps in America but they don't post to Australia.

2. If I run 2 smaller mufflers/resonaters before the magnaflows will that stop highway drone? Or do I specifically need an X pipe?

I've heard that Magnaflows are pretty loud but with mufflers/resonators before them I think they should be ok.

Also do you think this muffler design would look good on a Z?

 

Yes that muffler design would look perfect. I would ask your local muffler place to for them and see what price they can give you, you can PM hot300zx or zx2nv as one bought it off a muffler place i take it and other ordered a large volume of these........

 

Mine are the same

as that only round, bought them from Unique autosports, 96209000.

either get a uas middle muffler to run with these or 2 small straight thru mufflers to fit between the cats and these otherwise god help you with the loudness these produce

 

nothing like the mellow tones of magnaflows in the twisties ey chaddy lol

So what?s the name of that? And do you put two flanges on the ends to connect to the other end of the exhaust? Looks very nice.
