Hi Guys,my heater core bit the dust 2 weeks ago..did the bypass with the ford hose ok..went to Wallards,who quoted $300 plus parts(I have an auto..so no dash out job)happy with this price..have tried to contact "Method" re the magna $60 one..no reply...has anyone used this and can you get a tap with it and apart from the cutting off a small section on the corners...does it fit without any hassles?Thanks
Magna heater core? Damn, i'll be keeping an eye on this thread! Do you know what model magna or is that what you are trying to find out?
CORE Th$60 you can get a magna core (Same make as nissan) and -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- at least you know it will last 15 years. You have to SLIGHTLY modify the box, i.e cut about 0.5 cm off two of the corners. It would take you about 1 minute to do with a dremel. Core off the TE/TF/TH etc fit it. the above thread was posted by method in May last year....I want to know if the tap fitting is the same.
