I want to just get the rear of the car lowered and im not sure what to do?

Weather to get Lowered springs or to get the rear springs compressed?

Compresse the springs is a fair bit cheaper so yehh......

And also another thing.. my car is stock height with 17's on it, any idea how much i can lower the front and back.. i measured front can only be lowered 10mm before it hits <100mm and the rear can be lowered 80mm... did i measure right ?

    AndyMac Better than you

    new springs

If you compress the back end, especially by 80mm, then it'll almost be like riding solid i would think? Correct me if I'm assuming wrong but preloading/compressing a spring that much can't be healthy, you'd be hitting your bump stops every pebble you drive over...kinda like doof doof music but a lound clank every time instead of doof :) Just get some progressive rate springs, maybe -50mm. King springs or sumthin...hell I got the hypermax II setup and had to stop and let my girl out to throw up from motion sickness cause the ride was so rough...sorry, *firm*...
    sorry for the long post...
in short, i think springs, rather than compressing your old ones, get -50 all round, should be fine with 17's,
