Well i knew my car has been seemingly slower as of late.. and since the aus300 + tuned cruise i have also noticed that the sound of my boost, was alot louder. and well after some looking on the net, i found a 'bar to psi' conversion site. and after a quick test drive i found that the max boost im getting is only 7.39psi. which is 0.51bar.. now to me that seems like a big leek, a while ago, i did take my car to 'Tom' (PZP) and he told me i had a 1 or 2 lill leaks, that where near the turbos? and that ment id need a plenum pull to get to them, but he also said that there, only small, so im probably only a little under stock.. but yer, it would appear that its worse then that now.... well after making you read all that, heres my actual question does can any1 or will any1 recommend a good mechanic who can deal with this sort of stuff, in the Mandurah/Baldivis/Rockingham area... i know Tom (PZP) is 1 of the best to deal, with, but hes WAY to far away.... any help would be great :bash: :zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
could also be safety boost thats around 7psi when your in safety mode....... your car sounded very odd at the cruise, not at all like it sounded when buzz owned it........???

yer agree, hopeing thats the lill leaks tom told me about, so thats why i wana bite the bullet and get its a full going over and service and fix that leak. im 99% sure, with the sound its mainly because of the o2 sensors, because 1 is dead the other is almost dead, still need to get them replaced with my new 1's... (hence the need for an import mechanic) so im burning VERY rich, which is makeing the car, sound off i hope that the reason anyway.
sorry to hijack, but im funning 0.4bar and my car isn't detonating but its the wire to the detonation sensor ...but see i still get 560km to the tank? which is wierd but im still running on .4bar...i dont know where the fault is and i dont know how to check it...what are my options so i can recitify this asap...cheers ryan
Mandurah Mechanics I have 2nd hand information that this place is ok. Only one I know of down your way. This was recommended to me by the previous owner of my car who did a few jobs on the car before I purchased it. PZP does it all now.
