Hi all just wondering what i might have connected up wrong to do this... Put a new head unit in and now when i turn the headlights on the clearance light fuse blows, leaving me with only the high beams and no rear lights or dash lights. What is overloading that fuse? Strereo works fine but did momentarily shut down then turn back on when the fuse blew. First time it happened power windows didn't work but after the second time the fuse blew the windows still worked.
its the earth wire.. wire the earth to the chassis of the car.. you put it on illumination wire which is wrong, and when you turn on your headlights it will pop the fuse.
