Hi guys, i recently picked up a rear center panel and noticed it was actually an EL one. Now it doesnt have an invertor with it and having already searched i know that it needs 100V AC to light up. Now where the hell am i going to get one of these from? as it isnt a common voltage and my local jaycar store said they dont stock anything to suit. Thanks Jay
hey, went on ebay.com (america) and typed in "100 ac inverter"- came up with a few. the only thing is that its got that plug which fits in to the cigarette lighter, buts you'l just have to rip out the wires (and mayb fuse)and wire up-very easy. cheers marlon
thanks, had a dum dum moment there i guess. I guess i will have to be a little creative with the wiring then.
Dont be surprised if the panel doesnt work anymore. Your better off trying to get in on the el tape group buy, you get new tape and an inverter.
