    Hiya,
    Stupid question but..
Does anyone know what the specs are for a 300zx's licence plate screw?

I took a screw off a skyline and it fit perfectly, so I went out to buy one which I thought the thread looked pretty much the same, but obviously my eye-balling skills suck because the 6mm screws I bought seems to give a lot of resistance and I don't want to force it..

I would have thought this kind of thing was pretty standard o_O; right now my plates are being held on with twine ?_?

You may have bought imperial instead of metric screws.....

    red32 You talkin' to me?

You could also use pop-rivets, which have the advantage of being not easily removed.

M6 x 1.0 is the size of the rear number plate screws on my 92 J.D.M 2 seater so hope that helps.

@red32 haha yeah thats a good point! Although I'd probably be more inclined to do it if I had personalised plates.
