Levoc Shift Knobs Auto

hey guys im installing mine right now, the sheething that covers the metal shift stick does that have to be cut to the right length? it doesnt fit otherwise. Anyone around the runaway bay area want to install it for me? its half way done.

All installed, threw the spade connectors away and soldered it all in.

Well guys, here it is. Its dark and I'm almost wasted but hey.

 

I am SOOOOOOOOOO pissed.
Went down to the post office to pick mine up after missing the delivery for it... Got there at 12:03, the shut at 12:00.... Asked the bloke who was pulling down the roller of the post office if he could find it in his heart to let me grab my package. I could see it sitting behind the counter... but nooooooo "sorry mate, we're closed"
Seriously??? I could EFFING see it!! ><

JDM Yard in Sydney apparently can stock Sportmax stuff, but I haven't received a response from them or anything.. Just a thought, perhaps you could see if you have any luck contacting them

Went down and picked mine up today!
Instructions are confusing... Could anyone give me a hand perchance?

I'll help ya.

The instructions are useless. :rofl:

1. Unscrew the stock shifter and cut the wires off.
2. Take apart the shifter surrounds.
3. Measure the length of the new sheathing you only need less than half. Cut it to length keeping the good end thats molded to the new shifter.
4. Put the wires from the new shifter thru the sheathing
5. Push the sheathing thru the shifter surrounds and place the new shifter on top
6. Screw the new shifter in place, the plastic connector is already inside the new shifter, you dont need the other two that are in the packet.
7. Connect the OD wires using the spade connectors (I soldered mine).
8. Use the small bolt things in the tiny holes in the shifter. Two on the front one on the back using the allen key.
9. Put all the surrounding back in place and your done.

It confused me too at first, there's a lot of things in the packet we don't need.
