A member from Vic made up some of these. Look up "DJ_Party_Favor" and I think you'll find a thread... his came out looking schmick too and probably a fair bit cheaper than $700

ooo these ones are the double white... im a 2kspec man myself.

but i remember seeing these bad boys on the back of a black zed, it just really sets the car off ey, totally different look.

who would have thought changing 2 littles colours would make such a difference!

Can you get rid of the plastic stuff so you can see the LED's?

    eg.

I have done a bit of research and that style where you can see the LEDs can be done by using larger LEDs in what is called a parabolic reflector. I'm off to Hong Kong next week the home of LEDs so I will have a look there. You could make a parabolic reflector and I think this may have to be a project as the look really does bring the lights up to date without changing the style of the car.

    Could you just do this?...

Put some of the LED lights to replace existing globes like these from SuperBrightLEDS??

Wouldn't be quite the same, but you'd still get the high intensity "instant on" effect of LED's...?

    Tektrader offered this......

a FULL LED replacement setup for the Z32!

BUT it was going to be expensive to make circuit boards & get this off the ground!!........& as soon as the word 'expensive' got thrown around everyone who was interested in them backed out!!!  ........so he gave up! :(

but the UK ones at $700+ work out to be cheaper than the US "Clearcorners" version!!.......theirs were like $1500 or something crazy like that!!

I reckon you could do it yourself without too many hassles. Just a lot of time and some of that cheap nasty circuit board stuff (can't remember the name). When I have run out of other stuff to do I'll make a set

So can that kitchen light diffuser crap be replaced with glass or a clear plastic, it would look much better if done properly. Anyone keen to try?
