I am replacing the seats in my Zeds and as such have excellent OEM leather seat covers from a 2+0 and pretty good leatherette covers for a 2+2.

If you are in Cairns or Townsville and your seats are sound, (that is the foam structure, springing, electric motors etc under the covers,) we can look at a straight bolt out of your seats and bolt in of mine. This will save a couple of days worth of time fitting the covers. It took two and a half days to fit the leatherette covers.

If you are not close enough to drive here to do an exchange then I will remove the covers and post them at your expense.

    Condition:

The OEM leathers (2+0) are in excellent condition and for someone who wants to stay OEM they would be perfect.

The leatherette are excellent save for some slight wear on the drivers bolster and a mark on the seat squab. (see pics)

    Prices

OEM Leather (2+0) $450 (plus postage if necessary)

Leatherette (2+2) $350 (plus postage if necessary) These were $470 for a 2+2 two years ago when they were last available.

2+0 can do now, 2+2 about one month away

This is a relatively cheap and easy way to fix up a shabby interior. Any questions please PM me.

    Cheers

    interested in the 2+2.

Just wondering, how difficult is it to trim the seats? You said 2 and a half days work. What was involved in this?

It is not difficult just time consuming if you want to do it properly. There are a number of these where they are full of wrinkles becasue they were "rush" jobs.

The rear set is easy. The two buckets do take some time to dismantle, take off the old cover (tweed or leather) and then fit the new cover.

    The main ingredient is patience.

To do a good job I would allow a day for each seat. You have to remove the original tweed or leather covers and then re-fit these.

I have looked and I can no longer find the instructions that were on the forum, but I know some members have them in word format which I am sure they would email to you.

    Did these recently....

I did mine recently, when putting them on get some silicon to spray the foam with it enables the leatherette to slide instead of grip against the foam.
