Leather interior

Yep thats right Vader, I have just got the front seats done and now im thinking I should have got the rear seats too

I would strongly recommend that you get a professional to install the seat covers, rest of the gear is quite easy.

I had a guy in Marangaroo install mine for $400, said it took him 6 hours to fix the sagging springs and re-pad the side parts which sit above your hip. He has done a really good job so happy to give out his number. It was a 2 day turn around but now that he has done the 'prick of a job' Z seats I think he could do it in 1-1.5 days.

in an original tweed interior the console lid cover is normally in tweed .yes?

item H is all interior pieces normally covered in tweed?
Does that mean that this includes the console lid piece and if so why have people ordered CC and H.

just checking or is the console lid in tweed not counted as part of the tweed interior trim set H.

Ive ordered CC as my interior is the S2 Suede/velour. My Centre Console Lid is leather, as my seats were leather, whereas have seen models where centre console lid is factory suede/velour to match suede/velour seats. The "H" you are inquiring about is a leather bolt on arm rest cushion, pretty sure it was only from the S2 ('92 onwards model).

 

The armrests fit all cars. You just have to drill 2 holes to fit them on the early ones.

Looks much better with the armrests in my mind

I guess so, well maybe. We are taking a punt on the postage costs and hopefully the order is gonna be big enough to cover it. It's only gonna be $10 extra anyway.

 

Here is a picture of the 'real' thing, ie one I got from Leather Interior and put in my '90 Silver TT. (Convertible already had them from new)

Can you please clarify the Novasuede inserts. Is that the middle section of both seat and backrest in Novasuede ?

Is it an extra $100 ? If so why ? It would/should not cost any more than the leather it replaces. Work to cut and sew it up should be the same.
