I've got a problem. Heavy rain this winter has shown me what it is like to drive in a mobile shower. Can anyone recommend a place to go to have the seals looked at on my Z?
Try a DIY... first off take off the targas and in the sides of the car you will see drainage holes. Make sure these are unblocked. Next get some vaseline and rub it into the seals. Now long term this will destroy the rubber, but your seals are already shot so there is no big deal. In the short term the rubber will absorb the oils and get more supple for quite a while.
Try "Search" before you part with $bucks... there's plenty of info on the forum re stopping Targa leaks. I got 40 hits using "targa and leak". Also try some of the other Z sites using the links.Hope this dries you out, Cheers, Doug
