I think its the sump gasket anyway, but what damage can i do driving with it leaking (drops ~ 20 drops of oil after driving for ~30min) other then covering the bottom of my car with oil.

Going down south this week and g/f car is acting up and not too keen to drive the zed if theres great risk of damage like there was with the rear main leaking oil onto my old clutch.

One other thing my oil was over filled (2 cm over H on the dipstick), just wondering how much of a factor that is in causing the leak.

Higher oil level = higher oil pressure

so more stress on seals etc. possibly leaking due to that. If not much oil leak then i think it should be ok considering 20 drops per 30mins, 8 hour drive and thats only 320 drops which a couple hundred mills at most which is nothing really. However i dont know how on earth your measuring how many drops it leaks in the first place. Most important is to make sure you check the oil when you stop. I reakon oil level is measured most accurately when oil is cold as it has time to work its way back down to the sump, dont know if theres even a significant difference though.
