Does the Zed have footwell lights from stock? Never thought to check lol..... haven't noticed if it has them or not haha

but i know what you're on about. My 180sx had footwell lights from stock, and i ripped out the globes and stuck red LED in there. Didnt change the stock fitting to neons like most people. Just took out the globes and replace with red LED globes deisnged to fit. Got them from Supercheep.

HOWEVER... it wasn't really as bright as i was hoping. But that could be my choice of colour. Red light is dark by defualt.

So i ripped em out out and put 1 in the interior roof light. Looked quite good there and i still had the map lights for is i wanted to be able to see something so all good.

Haven't dont it to the zed yet as I still have a faulty door open sensor somewhere lol. It would stay on and flatten my battery haha.

you gotta explain your situation a bit more

but if your asking if there is a stock light in the footwells to replace with an led, there isnt.

your best bet is to hook up 30cm neons in the footwells and hook them up to the ignition or headlights circuitry

I've done exactly that but with Hi brightness LED strips - multi colour.
They can also pulse with music

    Looks cool at night

    Want RICE :D

a red light will always appear dark in these sort of cars with dark interiors, as its more easily absorbed.

mine is a 90' so they don't come on when you open the door.

its a mission trying to find the keyhole...

which reminds me of other experiences... :help:

    lol

just in the roof would be cool though....

your in trouble if your a male and cant find holes in the dark!!!

but the bulb in the roof can be bought with colouring already on it, but im not sure if there are suitable led's to fit straight in

does your ring around the keyhole light up?? you can get led's to replace those but i think they very rarely fail

i bought something like this for my interior main light...
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Bright-40-Wh...ryZ33712QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

had to file down the plastic light housing a fair bit to get it to fit, and the festoons it came with were too big...so had to change the base contacts a little too. but once its in and the cover is on it's perfectly fine, until you turn the light on and be blinded by a rectangle of pure bright light

but well worth it...it had a little 3-LED blue light in there before, and really, once you go 40 LED's, 3 just doesnt do it anymore....
