This character kler is giving me a huge headache!!!! Here is the brief summary of the story: 1) I got to UAS, they tell my thermofan is screwed. 2) I ask the forum dudes for help. Kler jumps in and tells me he has a thermofan for my car for 80 bucks. 3) I immediatly pay him (22 Dec) 4) It takes him like 2 weeks to send me the fan. The fan turns out to be a NA fan 5) I tell him its NA, he doesnt beleive me and insists its a TT fan 6) I give him the technical difference between the two 7) 4 days later he is convinced, and he tells me he will get back to me about the TT fan 8) He tells me he finds one and asks me to post that NA fan 9) I post it on express postage 10) He PMs me telling me its not the fan he posted. I only have one thermofan and that is his. Mine was fried and it was burried weeks before. 11) Kler insists the fan I sent him is not the one. He bullshits about not finding some mark on the fan :wacko: 12) I get frustrated and tell some of you guys about him. He gets some PM's. He agrees to send me the fan on Monday. Today is Saturday!!!! NO FAN!!!!! Sydney days are hotter these days and he is not sending the fan. I am not going to pay for another fan until he sends it. I dont like being ripped off!!! Guys, please help!!!!!!!:angry:
Yes My cousin Has had trouble too.. My cousin brought a AFM of kler about 6 months ago now but he didn't recieve anything after paying his $200. Kler said he sent it and gave him the express post bag number so he reported the number to Australia post and they said that it had never been sent and that he must have just brought a bag and gave him the number off it. after telling kler this still nothing and now he doesn't respond to E-mails from him. THIS GUY IS A DEALER BUT A DEALER THAT RIPS PEOPLE OFF SO I VOTE TO TAKE HIM OFF THIS FORUM FOR GOOD.
yeah, just got a brake master cyclinder off kler. it arrived with a broken reservoir. it'd say cos it was only packed in an express post bag (not the bubble kind) and plastic wrap (a bit thicker than glad wrap). told kler, who has been making various mumblings about it being the post service's fault (ahh no, it just wasn't wrapped adequately). should be able to make do with it, but still poor service. :thumbsdown:
Waz, don't let this BAD experience with KLER sully your trust in the forum. there are many dealers/members who you CAN trust not to try to score a 'victory' over a newbie for $80:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown: I am sure if KLER values his reputation and future business on the forum that he will cut out the crap, do the right thing and express post a refund of your money so you can buy a fan from someone else. How do you think you are going to go if the TT fan he (hopefully and finally) sends you fails, if this is how he treats his customers even before they have the correct goods?
My experience... Just relating my experience here for balance. I've also bought something off Kler (an aus spec speedo cluster). It arrived soon after we completed our $ transaction, as described, and well packaged. Evan.
I got an AFM from Kler... Was all OK, but wrapped only in bubble wrap in the express post bag.... The only thing I didn't like was his not replying to the questions I asked. I asked if the AFM came with a t-pipe in my very first post to him but he didn't respond if it did or not. After more e-mails (and after he'd posted the AFM) he said it didn't but he could sell me one. I just went and got one from the wreckers 'cause I needed it that day, if he'd said that in the first place I would have bought that off him as well :wacko: Kler you need to communicate more !! Matt.
Kler and a Good Experience I purchased 2 seater Targa Shades from Kler... I sent payment promptly He sent Shades prompty Shades were wrapped well and arrived in awesome condition. Just wanted to add my experience as people are always quick to complain and not to give praise when things go well... I would not have a problem buying from him again.... This is my personal experience....
I recently bought a centre dash panel from Kler, and the deal went through very well. PMs were responded to quickly and he shipped it quickly. I was a bit concerned about it being posted, as it's only plastic and rather fragile, but Kler wrapped it very well in bubble-wrap. Arrived without a problem and took me a good few minutes to unwrap it! So, I don't have a problem with the guy. Cheers Pete
Just for the record, "How many people think this guy is running a business?" According to him, he is not running a business, so where is he getting all the stuff he's selling? He is really screwing Wazzim, and apparently that's not the first time (If these other members are to be believed.)
Re: Just for the record As you prob know, it's not that hard to scour the wreckers/ forsale columns here and in local papers etc, pick things up cheap and resell them at a profit... Seeing some of the prices asked in the F/S section for individual parts, then knowing how much cheaper they can actually be bought for at a good wrecker like Cresta... It wouldn't be hard to make a decent profit ... so it's probably not an 'official business' (so complies within the forum guidelines) but a good money making hobby. Like most members, I prefer to help other members by putting them in touch direct with the wrecker and not profiteering from the transaction, but hey, he has been doing it for a while I gather and must have some satisfied customers. I got a KLER PM yesterday saying "fan was in the post three days ago" so Waz should have it Monday at latest???
Kler and service As I said before,bought seatbelts of Kler which were in as new condition,delivered in nearly 2days bloody good service saved about $150
Funny about that Mark. I got a kler PM saying he wasn't going>> to do anything about it at all, and that Wazzim was cheating him. Go figure!! Also, if you buy and sell S/hand motor vehicle parts in NSW, you required a Motor Dealers License. The Govt, and the Taxation Dept consider it to be a business transaction.

Kler Hi all, I purchased mirrors from Kler and was reluctant to trust him by sending money first but I did and received them a few days later. He mentioned to me that he is receiving parts from Japan.

well i don't know about business. maybe some sort of side operation. don't have a problem with it, as long as sellers are honest.
