    Hey mate. I personally like the wing, the thing is, the paint on the hatch where the wing came off is all buggered, so it would look better with a wing IMO. I'll get a photo.

    Oh, I never got any of those? I got a pm saying you would have been here either Sunday or Monday but no follow up. You asked me to send you photos so you could decide according to the condition of the bottom of the bar. All good, if you want it then ill hold onto it for you.

    No dramas mate!

    Ok, so I picked up Jamie's bar yesterday:

    I had to cut an absolute SHITLOAD of fibreglass out of the mouth of it for the FMIC and the side mount ducts for the IC piping. I only had a grinder and it was very difficult getting a straight line around the front of the intercooler, but I managed it half OK. There are a few imperfections but I can't do much about that.

    My old man fibreglassed underneath the bar where it was chipped and also around a couple of the bolt holes that were stuffed up.

    Then, to get a nicer panel gap, I cracked out the hacksaw and chopped off the plastic nut thing that sticks out of the front 1/4 panel.

    This plastic retainer sits either side of the 1/4 panel, so it pushes the front bar away from the 1/4 panel. If you cut that out and use a nut and bolt, your panel gap will be minimal and it will be much more reliable.

    You can space your fog lights a little further out from the reo bar, bringing it more flush with the bar front edge, and reducing the "sunken look", also concealing the visible edge of the front bar and some of the reo bar behind.
    Get to a fasteners store and get:-
    * 6mm booker/ threaded rod (usually comes in 1m lengths)
    * 6 x 6mm extension nuts- theyre a 6mm threaded nut, but about 20mm long
    * 6 x 6mm nuts
    * 6 x 1/4" washers (hole a little bigger than 6mm, but the washer surface area is much larger)

    Then-
    1. Unbolt your fog light (3 x 6mm nuts)
    2. Screw 6mm extension nuts onto the existing fog light studs
    3. Cut 3 x short lengths of 6mm booker rod, screw into extension nuts
    4. Thread 6mm nut into rod, fit 1/4" flat washer (foglight stud holes in the reo bar are too big for 6mm nut without an oversized washer, and will just pull thru otherwise)
    5. Refit foglight
    6. Use OEM 3 x 6mm nuts that to bolt foglight back into reo bar

    Sorry, I cant remember the length of the booker/threaded rod that you need to cut, a few trials and errors will reveal it.

    Cost under $50

    Mick, you're a legend mate. I was going to space the fog lights, but I was going to just use washers. Obviously the bolts I had weren't long enough, so I just left it.

    Will do what you suggest when I get back to qld. It will also make it possible to get the fog light straight, as they hit the fmic pipig at the moment.
