well after a good 3-4 hours, just finished doing a few things, main aim was to change my alternator and belt, as a few of you know i purchased a 140amp alternator from the states for $450, any way had to pull the radiator to do this (BITCH!!) if i had of known i had to pull radiator i would have purchased a new one also, i also changed all 3 belts why i was at it, as i went to pull the alternator bolts, i noticed the top right bolt had no nut on it and was loose, almost all the way out!!! and also my alternator belt was missing half its rubber on the inside!!! (hence the squeel heh) nasty, also changed oil and filter why i was it.

well just a small reveiw on the alternator, seems to work really well, fitted up perfect strait bolt on no fuss, definately recommend it for any one looking to upgrade, also fitted a 0awg run along with the standard wire from the alternator to the battery ^_^

I had my alternator bolt rattle loose and caused the alternator to drop. No power generated, and loss of clutch fan.
Fixed that little sucka with a high tensile bolt and nylock nut. Took 20 minutes including the time taken to jack it up and have a beer afterwards ;)

A long ring spanner down behind the PS pump does the trick, while using a socket driver with extension thru the front.

nah i changed all the belt's also, air con belt, power steering belt and alternator belt, also put a high pressure gurney through radiator and checked a few things whilst underneath :)

i just thought it was a little funny and strange!! the belts looked in good condition, just looking down with some light, cept alternator belt was slipping, but all three belts were pretty much ratted
