Would anyone be able to tell me *roughly* how much I will be able to get if I sell it off in parts. The engine seems to be intact its just horrendous body damage and rear suspension. Thanks guys.

Story I was comming down this long street, and there was a holden or something behind me revving like crazy. I got a bit faster to you know, make him shut up, and that was fine. Got to the end of the street which finished in a T section of a two way street (The kind with the island in the middle. Didn't see any cars so I accel'd out, but when I got half way noticed a car about to TBone me, so i gave it everything and somehow ended up backwards and cutting a bus stop in half. (The city is probably gonna sue me for that, at least I have third party property insurance, no comprehensive though). Anyway just took a look and most of it *seems*(im no mechanic) to be fine apart from: * Front bar (some how managed to destroy it but not anything past it) * RHS door * Rear RHS Rim ( just finished replacing the rear LHS one!) * Rear suspension (just got that replaced a few weeks ago) * LHS Light * LHS front guard * The section underneath the doors on both sides (this is the part im not too sure about, is that part of the chassis? I'm guessing it would be the most expensive part to fix.) If I could fix all that for under $3500 I might keep it but I'm fairly sure thats not gonna happen. Im probably just gonna have to get a old prelude or something for about 3 to 4 months till I can afford a new one.
Dude... the guy that was going to t-bone you, was he speeding?.... At least you're OK. I would try to write off the Zed and put the money towards a new one.
That Sucks Man...but I don't think think DonoRyan knows what he's on... about. Who cares if the other guy was speeding dude. There is no way in hell anyone would argue that it was the other guys fault. You stop or give way at an intersection otherwise bad things happen to nice cars (and people).... real sorry mate hope you can afford to get the Zed back on the road real soon.:zlove:

He helped candi out with pretty much exactly the same thing, so I'm hoping he'll be able to tell me wether to sell it off in parts, sell it in one piece, or repair it. Whatever happens, I'll be back in a Z within 4 months. I just love them too much.

RE: bloody holden drivers! I'm really sorry to hear about what happened to your car, and glad you're not hurt, but how on Earth can anyone blame the fool that was following you, is beyond me. There was only one driver in your car, and if you made a bad decision, you have to cop the blame and learn from it. Whatever happens, I hope you get back into a Zed real soon mate.:zlove::zlove:
