Big thanks to Matt and Mary for organising a great days cruising to the Jenolen caves and district.

Couldn't have asked for better weather or company, although I have come to the conclusion that NSW has some of the most unsuitable road surfaces to try and enjoy the Zeds handling capabilities on, maybe a FWD is the way to go, think I will have to get a wheel balance and alignment after hitting a few pot holes yesterday.

Still enjoyed the day, catch up again,:) :) :zlove:

Great day out. It was good to see Haylz being her Bright & Bubbly self (after her bad, recent accident ).:zlove: Some new faces and some old, but most of all, a really nice bunch of Zed nuts (and one very pretty 200SX. Hope you guys enjoyed the day out).
Thanks Matty (when did you become an Inspector for the NSW DMR?).:eek: :D:D
All in all, a very nice day. Can't wait for another one, soon.:zlove::zlove:

Yep tops day, poor Haylz on those crappy roads

Thanks Matty and Mary. Good to see the gang but next time can we go somewhere that hasn't been used as a lunar rover test zone!

    Any one got pics?

    cheers

    Good to see everyone again!

And some new faces too! A bloody nice 200sx also, good to see you lads along too.

I apologise too all for that last road choice and will do a recon of all roads the week before the next one (gives me an excuse for a fang), that road was shit even for NSW. I think my arse and neck are still recovering from that one. Lowered springs, race seats and R spec tyres = no fun on that road come bomb site.

LOL it was a big WTF when I hit that stuff. Atleast the rest was good though and Chili educated some Subi driver on the merit of owning a Zed. LOL - I think his comment was WTF was that that just passed me. LOL thats what you get when you try and cut a Zed off and be smart.

    Hey Guys!!

Once again, another awesome Zed Event!! And if Chili hadn't twisted my arm into coming along i would have missed out!!

Tim got to drive my Zed and he was grinning the whole way... trying to keep up with Matt and Ross was a bit of an effort for my little beast (my Zed, not Tim) but i was quite impressed with my car! At times i was holding onto the door with sweaty palms, praying we wouldn't go over a cliff or into a tree, and Tim telling me, "damn that speed limiter"

And despite the potholes, the massive dip, the flying gravel, and that very scary 90 degree turn after the bridge it was a really great day. Thanks for organising it Matt!!!

Sorry all, didn't make it .........

I had work to do on the grey Zed, and still more this coming weekend - car is loose in the rear ....... and I had some time with family members. Hopefully I'll catch up with the Sydney mob next time.

It looks like you all had a great day, although the physio and chiro bills are a bit of a concern. Maybe Nissan should have brought out a 4WD option for the 300ZX ;)

    Cheers,

    Peter

A Hovercraft version would be more use on a Wokburner Cruise.:D:D It was a nice bit of countryside on the last stretch, maybe they will put a road through there sometime, who knows?:rolleyes::eek:

    THANKS FOR A GREAT DAY

    Matt & Mary,

Many thanks for organising a beaut day and great weather.

Just think of the road as a sherpa training run for those of us who dream of taking our Zs into the great unknown.;) ;)

Sorry we had to drop out early, we needed to get back to Sydney for a family gig. Given the road reports it seems it was a good move!!

    Cheers

    Ellie & Tim:)

Just a few photos, had more but they were taken whilst the car was "dancing" so they were either of the car roof or floor mats!!!!
