Jamie got most of his work done..and was so interesting to see the boys going crazy at the wreck..everything was stripped to bits.. Thanks Jamie for holding this tech day..once again thanks to Dave and AIden for helping me
Yeah Very good day, lots of fun pulling jamies car apart, got Daves tension rods done aswell. I had fun
yeah thanks to you as well Andy for all the advice..sent Tom an email now telling him about the control arms
Tech day Great day guys, i just think its funny that it took longer to do a plenum pull than to rip a whole car apart. you boys were crazy as going at that wreck.. nice work
yea man fired straight up. idled bit high for a while till ecu sorted it self out, love the sound of that thing though sounds tuff as.
You are right Takes longer to put stuff in right order than pulling apart. Specially when Rosco, Dave and Spikie were there, didn't waste a minute.
Woo Hoo! Well tech day was a huge success! Big turn out of people! Got heaps done! Plenum pull, Water bypass, EGR delete, Safety boost delete, aiv solenoid delete. Got the new black plenum on and it looks sexy as! The wreck is pretty much just a shell now! Looks like a carcass thats been attacked by ants! Thanks to all the guys for all the help with stripping the wreck! Must be some sort of record! Z to zero in a day! Thankyou to everyone who attended, helped or were just there to say hello! Also a special thanks to chris (ezzupturbo) and Aiden (Awegazm) for staying back soo late to help me finish off. Really appreciated guys! Pics of the new plenum to come! Cheers guys!
great day, good people, snags and bits of z's everywhere lol...... thanks to jamie for hosting, and glad you got your car back together and running, the black beast lives again! was good fun stripping the wreck, theres still a bit t go but the majority of it is done now, and everyone did take care to remove the bits properly so 99% of the bits are able to be saved/sold one less zed on the road now, coz that thing would take a million hours of work to put it all back together lol!! see you all at the next event, what ever it may be.........
Sorry I couldn't make it guys I pulled my hamstring at cricket the day before rending me to beer drinking duties on sunday Will have to come down in a few weeks to come grab those bits off you jamie Cheers Rob
