J Imports

Does anyone know where i can contact member "J Imports"? He is now trying ignore me after contacting him about being unsatisfied with a set of wheels that were purchased from him. If ur reading this mate its in ur best interest to contact me.:nono:

The wheels are in far worse condition(gutter rashed) than expected, also only half the stated tread on the tyres. To top it off they need specific nuts which he wants to sell me for tripple the price i can source them locally. Now no replies after being asked to take pics! Pathetic IMHO!

 

Did you ask for specific pictures of the damage before sending off money?

a damaged rim to one person is a repairable rim to another. Pretty stupid on your part if you didnt ask for specific pictures before paying. as for the nuts, just buy them locally if he wants 3x more for them. Did he say the nuts were included with the rims? if not, then whats there to complain about? getting free wheel nuts isnt common these days as some sets cost over $200.

Dont mean to bag you or anyone else but honestly its your own fault for not checking the rims condition first. even if he said they are perfect condition all you had to do was ask for good close up pictures.

 

FYI...yeah i did ask for more pics but for some reason he ignored that question more than once, i never recieved them and was assured that they were in like-new condition. Either way they definately arent acceptable for the money that was paid. Some people just dont understand that it will be less costly for them 2 fix/resolve the issue in a civilized manner...but they eventually learn.

yeah thanks mate...i will have it sorted one way or another. Ive bought heaps of things over this forum lately and sold a couple of things all without any issues or false info. Now when it comes to a larger purchase this happens. It should be a warning for all members that although there is alot of trust worthy, honest and reliable people amongst our fellow forum members, u can never be too cautious as u will eventually come across a scammer/lier somewhere along the track. Its a shame but they do exist and it kills the trust one has for such a community.

 

I still wouldnt have bought them.... ESPECIALLY if he was avoiding sending me pictures!

 

I wish id known this before and i just noticed he has only recently became a member also. We don't need members like him anyway but glad 2 hear its not a "legit member" that done this.

unless they have had lots of dealings with forum members then its not worth the risk...
no way i would have bought anything from him- noob shows up here with 4 grand + rims and mostly poor tyres without any references or anything.... dodgy to start with
