Just browsing some old magazines and found this in "WHEELS" magazine for July 1990. Interesting possible evolution of the Zed.
Nissan actually built at least one of these, it is shown in Best Motoring - Skyline the prodigy dvd. Looks more like a Ferrari 355 berlinetta than a Zed.
OMFG that is nice, they so should have made it, its so much more like a super car and would have held its value alot better, its a shame they never made it, maybe in the future they will modernise the design a bit and release it???
what an awesome idea! there are too many cars like that which are abandoned because of the cost of production being too high. recentely when hsv was planning the insane hrt 427 and that was pratically production ready when they abandoned it. just the thought of a mid engined, v8 zed, omg drool
Its just a GTO with a nissan badge is it not? I'm glad we got the car we have now......not a big fan of that.....plus I think it would have aged quite badly.
mitsubishi gto/3000gt is front engine awd paul... like a mitsubishi wersion of the gtr apparently....lol,just not as good......
If that was priced the same as the Z32 they would have sold ucket loads of them. I got the horn looking at it. There must be a body kit for a z32 that looks like that! :zlove:
Not really...MID4 prototype, used as the base for the only true Nissan supercar The R390-GT1, extremely rare (and expensive) but available... 3.5L V8 twinturbo mid engine Few of these do actually drive around in Europe !
holy shite!! looks like it uses the Z32 headlights... and thats about it. IMO doesnt look like a nissan lol, and i thought a zed was hard to get out of!
Very Modern like all prototypes the it was very modern shape, but how sik would it have looked, ferreari styles all teh way
There is an Italian guy that has made a 3D computer model of the car Look at : http://www.enriconencini.com/gallery.htm
