I was going to remove the covers to clean them and repaint them . I undid all but one hex bolt which was tucked in behind the water outlet pipe:wacko:. Surely you don't have to remove these water pipes just to get the covers off:sick:? Is there some trick to this that I am missing?
    Any advice welcomed!
    Cheers:thumbsup:

    yep...

its a real pain and I do believe that those water pipes have to be removed to get the cover off. Nothing is easy in a zed.

No way around it, remove the pies dude

You'll need the correct allen key with a 3/8" drive socket and extension to do it properly, but you can get away with a normal allen key, it's just a lot easier with the ratchet.
Buy some sealant b4 you rip into it, some of the Orange Nissan stuff will last you ages and come in handy for heaps of Zed related motor stuff. Use a litlle bit to hold the thermostat in place when you put it all back together and don't overdo the sealant. It's easy after you've done it 10 or more times like me :D
