Thanks Guys, But unfortunately the seller of the car from the opening post did not see reason and still wants $13,500.00. I will be conducting a new search for a Zed because that one is not coming down to a reasonable price. I appreciate your help.
If you're prepared to wait, it's HIGHLY unlikely he'll offload it for that price and he might be more willing to bargain in the new year. Without seeing the car I'd say it'd be worth $10.5K max, that's around what I sold my '94 Aus-Spec for with less genuine k's on the odo and she was immaculate.
I'm prepared to wait for the right Zed but it isn't that one now. From what I've gathered just by talking to him, the car is more likely to sit in his garage for 12 months before he really starts to advertise it. I got lucky and test drove it through knowing a mutant friend. The search continues...but thanks for the advice.
