I hear is squeaking, like a bearing squeaking if i put a certain amount of electrical load on the car. example, car squeaks while car is running with: - headlights on with fog lights - headlights with stereo (very slight squeaking) - headlights on with the brake pedal pushed in - headlights off, fog lights off, and brake pedal pushed in while car is running it doesn't squeak when: - headlights are on only - for lights are on and headlights are off just recently started happening as well, so my question is, should i replace this soon? cheers
could just be squeeky belts? can get a wax from car shops to shut it up for like 2 bux... problem is getting to the belts!
can you say who did the service .. and why aren't you getting on your plane .... ??? have you knicked out for a puff yet ..???? or emailpm me re the 100kmm issue ..??? barryodonnell@iinet.net.au
also check for any kind of fluid dripping on the belt, my other car had an oil leak from the rocker cover dripping on the alternator belt causing it to squeal like a pig.
I did it...>> and new belts were installed with a new UR underdrive pully. Take your zed to Stuart and he will retension the belts for you. From my experience, I have found that the anodizing on the UR pulley combined with new belts means the belts may slip slightly and should be inspected/retensioned after a month or so. I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned by Stuart when you picked up your zed. Cheers
