It's a sub !!! Previous owner liked it so much he wouldn't sell it with the car. I was really cut about it (NOT !!) Cheers, Peter
Haha, fair enough! Can't blame you. Police: You know it's illegal to run nitrous on the roads, that'll be an $8,000 fine. You: It's just my subwoofer. Police: Here's your fine. -Kirill
Charizma's Interior 2007 Here's a pic of Charizma's in 2007 till a few months ago... Here is what it looks like today... She is under heavy construction...will hopefully be put back together in the next couple of weeks and will post up the finished product then. Some interesting custom upgrades being made...but I won't give anything out just yet... Cheers Rob.
leather seats x2 $1300 upholster the rest $700 paying $300 instead of $700 and it all falls off after 2 months, not pticeless.
I'd agree with that So called professionals did my interior minus the seats, every panel came off after 2 months because they didn't prep the surfaces after they pulled all the tweed of. Also they didn't sand down any bumps where the tweed came off so there are a couple of little bumps here and there from the moulding underneath. In short leave the tweed on, it acts as a good surfact for the glue too stick and gives a nice plush smooth look.
To tweed or not to tweed?? That is the question... Woah. I was all set to start ripping the tweed off and sanding the panels back and now this! Can anyone who did their own vouch for this? Just want all the info before I start pulling things apart!! By the way I reckon that black suede looks hot!! very gt3. Thanks in advance! :zlove:
OMFG I didnt think it was possible !!! You went to the same school as Chad!!! Someone give me a bloody GUN. I am going postal :bash::bash::bash::bash:
I have tried it both ways, leaving the tweed on and with it off. I did half the car leaving it on and I just wasen't happy with it. I was going over the top with leather and it just looked too bulky. Plus it made the glove box very tight and hard to close. Re-did it all and IMO it looks much better now. I didn't do any sanding of the panels at all but I definantly recommend cleaning them quite well. The old glue peels off when you put fresh stuff over the top and nothing will stick. Ben
My interior PIC here's mine foam backed/slightly squishy Black veluor all done by myself, nice clean stock look... i still need a few things to top it off though [/IMG] a few other guys have it as well that i've seen
I would rethink doing the top of your dash in the macro suede. It will fade, unless you religiously cover the dash when parked in sunlight. I have to redo my echo for that reason. I should have waited until I tinted the front windows.
I'd put up a pic of my interior but I can't find the link to the garages we used to have (yeah it's been a while since I've been on here) Has that feature been dropped?
apparently it's having bugs. Try clicking the link in my sig. and navigating to yours from there edit: found a picture of dubs. Is this the most recent?
Cool, found it through your link, thankyou. Black suede, contrasting beige single stitch for detail, stone Italian leather, simple.
