iv just got the ebay kit 4 the 300zx and have put it all in looks good. except for the doors does anyone no how to do the door or a method or something cause i took the door off and the only wy u can do it is if to take the black stuff off around the speackers and the it not like the other pieces you can take eack indervidaul piece of and replace it. any help will do plz
hey buddy i got the kit about a week ago n i've been doing bit by bit... still have done but i've managed to do one door and a few bits and pieces . take off the cloth . brush on the glue on the door where u've just stripped the cloth off (unless u have spray glue) . put the vinyl on where u see it fit the best . grab a pencil and shove the vinyl into the gap between the stripped area and the factory leather. . take the vinyl off and cut out where u've marked . apply some glue and push it in where the gap is. the door is one piece you cant remove it. its a bitch of a job and it took 1 whole day for me and my mate. good luck i'll post up a pic or two when mine's finished. what colour did u end up getting? i went all black catch
Quality are the kits good quality??? I am interested in buying a kit but was a bit hesitant to get one off ebay. also is installation practical or what?? thanks guys
interior i wanted tan but he said i had to wait an extra 2 weeks or something so i got the white (good luck tryin 2 clean it)instead it looks really good ill hav pics as soon as it done. i like the kit its good quality but the piecers are to big so u hav 2 cut them down and some pieces just fit but overll good product
So if you have to cut them down whats the point?? Why not just buy the material by the meter here in oz? Thats what I did. AB
you should have left the tweed cloth on the door... it makes it easier to smooth the vinyl on. In terms of fitting the doors i used a flat blade to push it into the speaker grill etc. The pieces are exact, when you remove the original trim lie them on top of the equal vinyl piece and you will see where to line up each piece on the car part etc . i didn have to trim any piece at all. check out my profile for pics and also there are heaps of other threads about this topic so check them out. quality is good i have to say but its nothing you cant find here in aus eg. clark rubber sells vinyl that is simmilar quality to them they're not the best fit. i'm not sure if Jeffro got them from the same place as i did coz mine were DEFINATLY not the same size as the cloth that i stripped. if i had to do it again i wouldn't order them i'd get a big sheet of vinyl or even better a hide of leather n i'd cut it out myself.
i asked to match the EXACT match of the stock colour and he charged me a bit extra coz he had to get it from a "special place" but it definatly isn't a perfect match its more of a navy finish rather than black. i'm in doncaster if u wanna come and see ur most welcome to. gimmi a call on 0421337733 sam
Believe Ben, stock is not adjustable in any way for upper arms The only way to get low and have decent camber is with adjustable upper arms. I now have the ones Egg was selling and they are great. Give him an email. If you are going to the Zed Nats this weekend I might have my front end bling on display

miksta, i talked with the post office here in the US,They are investigating it, i will keep you update on what happen, i will send you a copy of the form i filed. they told me the delay is kinda normal at this time, because, here in the US it's tax return season and the post office is really busy, even my US customers have to wait 10-20 days to get they package, so no need to worry i will make sure you get it. it ussually take 4-10 business days to get to Australia. i will email you the form,your package was insured.
i now have italian vinyl, that you cannot get anywhere it is so awesome, i'm tearing up my interior to redo the whole thing again. i got it today. it is as soft as italian leather and frankly i have a 1999 mercedes benz E55, which has the best leather known to mankind, this vinyl feels nicer and look better then the leather in the mercedes, it is that good. it will be available to the public by tomorrow. it's only $20 extra, but it is worth every penny. i'm very impress with the material. the only thing i don't like is they only offer about 40 colors,but they are sweet, if anybody ever feel italian leather then you know what i mean.

sam, it is call matte black, it is new, not as worn as the factory so that's why it looks darker, send me some pics of the car, i'm sure we would love to see it, i will post it on my website for eveyone to see
