Hey all Quick question regarding insurance. I've just called SGIO to ge a quote on insurance for the '90 TT I'm buying. They've told me they can't cover the car! The guy had trouble finding it for starters, he was trying to tell me that Z32's never came in a turbo model (as his computer said so, so he MUST be right), and I told him that I had no idea whether the TT model was made and sold in Aus, so if he could find a '90 nissan 300zx TT 5speed manual, then that would probably be it. He rang some other department, who apparently told him that they don't insure those cars, which is why it wasn't under the system as Z32 TT. WTF Can anyone recomend a decent insurer in WA. I'm only 19, so the price is going to be huge, but Price be damned. I want this car already. Any suggestions would be great
Just cars will insure it. Cost me 2k, but I'm gonna give Shannons a call and see if I can't get around the under 25/no garage thing.
mmmm.. Oh well, to hell with recomendations from people who might've gone with Just Car but their loan people told them not to because they wouldn't give them a loan anymore! The trick is not having to make them pay out in the First place! I'll give them a bell

Insurance companies are a pain in the ass with my premiums and excesses, i'm actually thinking about dropping to 3rd party anyway, anyone got any recommendations for very cheap 3rd party ?
Don't know who told you that. I had an at fault accident while my car was defected and they repaired it no worries! (Hehe, Kings Way in Melbourne down to two lanes at 8am on a Monday morning, about 100m before the freeway on ramp wasn't I the popular one)
