Well my WB02 sensor is installed and I am trying to work out the best way to run the wires into the cabin.. have any of you guys done this and can give me some ideas?

Initially I was thinking to run the wires to the engine bay and go through the bonnet popper grommet but its a pain in the ass to get to and then to get the plug through will have me swearing..

The sensor is located near where the gearbox bracket bolts onto the chassis. But the wires are very long.

    Cheers,

    Adam

I have mine come up through the shifter hole.

Same with mine - slit the edge of the rubber shifter boot and coiled the excess and tucked it behind the carpet.

Yeah i ended up doing the same thing. a little worried about the tailshaft initially but there doesn't seem to be any issues.

I cable tied the loom up with the gearbox loom and have had it in and out about 4 times since while trying to get a one piece tailshaft sorted - and its fine.
Now I just need to get tuning! lol

I have mine come up thru the grommet in the bottom of the firewall on the passenger side then under the dash over to the drivers side pillar.

I also shielded the wires from the sensor to the grommet with silicone hose to protect it from heat and stones etc.

    Yep.

I removed the Cat temp sensor wiring and used those paths to get the wires in. Passenger side got fed under the carpet and then over the trans tunnel, then ran both up to the cluster.

I was thinking about that but had limited time. Maybe when I have time I will reroute it as I'm not 100% happy with running it through the shifter hole.

I also looked at that - but the AEM gauge has a monster plug on it, and wouldn't fit through any normal size hole in the body.... If there is some trick I want to know! lol

Agreed thats a good hole in the firewall... thats why I have my amp wire and vacuum line for my boost controller running through there haha.. no more space unless I chop the bung up more :( and even then.. I reckon if I change it from the shifter hole it will be to give the cat temp sensor hole a go.

Hey Adam, what wires did you use to hook up your gauge? (Power, earth etc).
