    hey guys and girls,

my mate just picked up his own 300zx and i told him about boost jets lol, so ive picked up a set of .9, 1 and 1.2mm welding tips to expirement with:zlove:

so started with the tech section, located where to install them ( the lines come from the hard intake hose that the soft silicone hose connects to and up to the T/B.... thats the one right?) but the little clamps and pulling the line off are proving to be a bugger as i dont want to break anything, specialy as it is not my own Z, but want to know in good detail how i should go about taking them off, is there alittle trick to it?? or can i just rip them off?

    thanks again guys
    Sam

If there's enough slack, just cut the hose down the middle where it attaches to the pipes and cut that bit iff before you reattach.

Then again, stop being such a girl :)

This doesn't get easier with time, you just get used to it. If you're going to replace the hose you can cut it before the nipple with some scissors and then carefully slice the remaining hose and peel it off, but most of the time some jiggling and brute force will get them off.

No need to remove the hose at all, cut it in the middle where you can get at it, stick the jet in and join it back up with a 4mm joiner - done :D

Seconded. The boost jets need to be installed along

the hose. You might be able to force them down from the end of the hose, but probably not. I just cut and joined mine with plastic connectors from supercheap.
