i'm having a look at a 89 tt manual tomorrow evening and was wondering if one of the more knowledgeable members,around the coorparoo area, would be able to come down and inspect the vehicle (fleet informed me there was smoke coming out of one of the exhausts) PM me if you are interested thanks matt

Depending where you are, you could inspect it personally and get an idea for the car and the seller. Once your satisfied that you want to pursue it further, organise a pre-purchase inspection at AMEC.
thanks that what i was thinking of doing...if i do purchase it it will be subject to inspection and/or compression test..if the turbos are about to go then no sale unless he's willing to lower the price significantly
