Inline Fuel Pressure Gauge + Teflon Tape

    Ive got a gauge I was going to put in the engine bay. Is Teflon Tape (same as plumbing tape) suitable for fuel fittings ?

    better to use some type of thread sealant like loctite. you don't want pieces of teflon disintegrating and making its way into your fuel system.

    Yes, teflon tape should be fine.

    yes, teflon tape is fine

    but only on tapered fittings, not AN type.
