Hi Everyone, I'm interested in buying some Infinity Kappa perfect components for the z. The speaker mount currently is a 5 1/4 inch however, apparently with the kappas the 6 inch speakers are like 10 x better. So im interested does anyone know how the 6 inch components fit in the door (and also does the massive speaker basket structure fit depthwise)? If anyone has photos it would be fantastic. By the way, there on ebay for only $309 + 50 pstage. There at wow sight and sound for $899. Any recommendations would be appreciated as i dont want to cut the z up. Cheers guys. Questions hey mate, whats the mounting depth? i managed to fit Hertz HSK165's in mine which are a 6.5" speaker. do you have a 2 seater or 2+2? i have a 2+2 so i think the door trims are a bit different but from what i understand they have a 6" speaker hole so you should be able to fit them in quite easily. the problem will moreso be the mounting depth and interference with the windows. my advice when installing speakers is to have the windows down so you know your maximum room. my speakers have a pretty big mounting depth so i imagine you should be able to fit infinity's, even if it means making a spacer as you have a bit of room between the actual door and trim.
