    Gotta love Wikipedia

"The Z32 also is also known for its exeptional acceleration as it has 248kw stored at the rear wheels. "

Noice one. How many of you have 248kw atw without touching a thing on your zed?

Dude it's wikipedia, an OPEN, free encyclopedia!
Go to any uni, you are NOT allowed to use wikipedia as a valid reference!

I once edited the VG30DETT article for a giggle to show my friend who didn't know about zeds, that our engines come standard with T88 turbos, Nitrous and VTEC! :D

I actually thought the zed made more than the claimed 300hp (at the fly), but don't really know. Anyone care to clarify?

    Cheers,

yep wikki could be an awsome resourse but its just not.

Its open and everyone knows it, in which case it makes it as safe a point of reference as thehun.com

The web is officially full of crap unless you're willing to pay for your information... and even then you can't be sure

(present site excluded of course) :zlove:

Tosh Tosh living in NA denial.....

I would think a stock TT (in new or near new condition) would be just a tad over 220kw at the flywheel.

    power

I'm aware that wiki is open. Just having a laugh
It's always good to see a picture of G W Bush replaced with one of Hitler

The TT 300zx is the same as the GTR, Supra etc, in the way that Japan had a "gentleman's agreement" that their cars would not exceed 280 - 300hp (206 -220kw). It wasn't uncommon for people to dyno their stock cars and come out with a figure much higher than what was claimed.

I seem to remember 240-260kw at the engine being thrown around a bit

    Could be wrong though.

300hp is correct.......the newer 95+ or so droped it down to 280bhp due to losing the vvt....
